Yoga (RYT 200)
I started practicing yoga in 2008 at Soulista and completed my 200-hour RYT training under the instruction of Darcy Neumann in 2014. In addition to asana, the physical practice of yoga, my training also delved into philosophy, Ayurveda, meditation, Yoga Therapy, and focused heavily on alignment. Yoga has been life changing for me. Prior to 2008, I found myself rushing through life, tired all the time, and struggling with debilitating back pain. Yoga has helped me step back into the present moment, cultivate more energy, and find new ways to alleviate pain. My mash-up of yin and restorative yoga is sure to leave you feeling blissed out and ready to take on the world, one breath at a time! In addition to being a yogi, I’m also an interior designer at Christianson’s Business Furniture, freelance graphic designer, and a full-time “The Office” enthusiast!
